  Firstly, the impact of frequency. Through a frequency divider, the bass unit is only responsible for a certain range of low frequencies, and the upper frequency limit of the unit itself is one or two times higher than the division point, which can ensure that the operating frequency is in the linear region and reduce the need for additional component corrections. For example, if the frequency division point is 500Hz, the effective frequency response of the bass unit needs to reach 1000Hz or even 1500Hz, the more linear the better.

  The second is the carrying power. As the power carried by the bass unit accounts for more than half of the entire speaker, the power carrying capacity of this bass unit becomes the basis for this parameter of the speaker.

  Then there is impedance. Speakers are usually labeled based on the relevant characteristics of the bass unit. The impedance of other frequency bands may be lower than the nominal impedance, and the low impedance of Z may not exceed 20% or increase by more than 100%. Regardless of whether the impedance is high or low, it will bring varying degrees of difficulty in promoting transistor amplifiers. Compared to 4 ohms, speakers with a rated impedance of 8 ohms are easier to drive. Speakers exceeding 8 ohms will reduce the output of transistor amplifiers.

  The fourth is sensitivity. High sensitivity has two advantages. Firstly, the output of the amplifier can reduce power. Secondly, the monomer can generate sufficient sound pressure without consuming too much power. For every 3dB increase in speaker sensitivity in acoustics, the required power is halved to achieve the same sound pressure.

The higher the frequency, the shorter the wavelength, and the narrower the diffusion. Based on this characteristic, it is necessary to carefully consider the coordination and selection of the bass unit aperture and crossover point. Shooting the bass reflex hole 360 degrees towards the ground can improve bass diffusion and create a huge audio stage. In principle, the larger the bass unit, the lower the frequency response range and the lower the crossover point. High fax requires a low-frequency single unit horizontal diffusion of ± 60 degrees, with a requirement of no more than -6dB; vertical ± 20 degrees is -6dB. Compared with the horizontal angle, the vertical diffusion angle characteristics of the single unit are strictly required, which conforms to the auditory characteristics of the human ear and is more sensitive to horizontal than vertical.

  After Z is the Q value, which basically determines the damping matching requirements between the speaker and amplifier based on the individual characteristics of the bass (both box design and sound-absorbing foam have an impact). High Q-value speakers are equipped with high damping characteristic amplifiers; The low-Q speaker is equipped with a low damping amplifier, which ensures that the sound control and music flavor do not tilt to any side. Even the sound-absorbing materials in the speaker can change the total Q value of the speaker.
